Big changes ahead
The last 3 months have been wild.
I spend a month in Ecuador, set a world record, started a new career a month later and now I am looking at some other major changes on the horizon.
I have been back to back with obligations this past week so transparently I wasn’t inspired to write and I don’t have much to write about, but I made a commitment to myself I’d write a post weekly at the minimum so here I am.
At 28 years old I am now finding myself diving into a completely new and uncharteted territory of life. Oddly enough I am not remotely nervous or scared and I believe that’s for 2 reasons.
The first is that I’ve committed entirely to my path. There is no second option. I am truly adopting the burn the boats mentality.
The second is I’ve fully embraced the idea of figuring it out and accepting I have no idea where I will take it.
So this weeks message is simple. When you believe you’ve found your thing - you must go all in. There cannot be any seed of doubt in your mind about seeing success in what you’re doing whether it’s in work or fitness or relationships.
You may do what you want to go “all in on” forever or you may realize in 3 years that you want to be in a completely different place, and thats fine. But it’s no an excuse not to go all in. A path must be taken. You cannot avoid the forging the path. Every brick laid is one closer to building the house. Every foot of terrain cleared is closer to realizing the trail.
Confidence is built through experience, action and practice. Do what you feel called to do and don’t compromise. This is the best way to live a good life.
